A NEW LOOK AT LIFE, is exactly what Horacio Aleman said he received after his Christian conversion. “I came from a broken home. I grew up with negative feelings. Then I came to the Lord. Horacio said it was the late Dr. Schlinky that planted the word of God in his heart. Like a rope around a wild stallion it was fastened on my heart with love. I did a lot of bucking and pulling but it was the Love of God through Dr. Schlinky and Brother Don Smith that brought me to a total surrender of my Life to Jesus.”

Horacio Aleman Sr. delivers the message of God’s love in the ghettos of our communities. He in turn is laying that rope of love around broken hearts and lives. The Anointing of the Holy Spirit. He is surrounded with a fine musical team. Sharing in his meetings are those who have had broken lives who have found peace through salvation in Jesus Christ.

His preaching has caused scores to come to the Carpenter of Nazareth. Cruising for Jesus has found them in prison camps, youth detention centers, in the ghettos and depressed areas of our community and neighboring communities. Jesus has mended their broken lives and hearts.

Fellow servants in Christ, I wanted to write this letter to remind us all what the focus of Cruising For Jesus is. First, let me say that this is the Lord’s work, not mans! We are all replaceable, including myself and it is important that none of us forgets that. We are only instruments that God is very graciously using and we should be very thankful. John 3:16 says, “for god so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life”. That has been the theme scripture since CFJ was started in 1996 and we must remember and understand that the love that God has for us by giving up His Son is the love that we must allow to flow through us to others. In other words, everyone we come in contact with should experience the love of Christ abounding in us. Jesus tells us in John 10:10, “the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full”.

In 1996, God gave me the vision of having a crusade by using a car show to attract the lost youth of this world and also the people who once were serving the Lord, but have now fallen away. At that time the Lord told me to go into the streets and He gave me this scripture, Luke 14:15-24, "When one of those at the table with him heard this, he said to Jesus, blessed is the man who will eat at the feast in the kingdom of God. Jesus replied: A certain man was preparing a great banquet and invited many guests. At the time of the banquet, he sent his servant to tell those who had been invited, come, for everything is now ready. But they all alike began to make excuses. The first said, I have just bought a field and I must go and see it. Please excuse me. Another said, I have just bought five yoke of oxen and I'm on my way to try them out. Please excuse me. Still another said, I just got married, so I can't come. The servant came back and reported this to his master. Then the owner of the house became angry and ordered his servant, go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame. Sir, the servant said, what you ordered has been done, but there is still room. Then the master told his servant, go out to the roads and country lanes and make them come in, so that my house will be full. I tell you, not one of those men who were invited will get a taste of my banquet".

There are many people who have fallen in their walk with Christ, and they feel defeated. They feel that we Christians are too judgmental and that they cannot measure up to our standards. This is a terrible tragedy that we must not allow to continue, the love of Christ will overcome this attitude if we submit to Him and walk in His light. 1 John 1:7 says, "But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin".

Who are we to determine who is worthy and who isn't? Brothers, we cannot forget where we came from. Ephesians 2:1-10 says, "As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath. But because of His great love for us, God who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions - it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages He might show the incomparable riches of His grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God–not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do”.

We need to be accepting of everyone and allow the love of God to change people, no us. 2 Corinthians 3:18 says, “And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit”. 2 Corinthians 5:17-21 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God”.

Brothers, the Lord has called us all to work together in this ministry. As the Lord continues to bless Cruising For Jesus and the ministry grows, we must be careful not to lose sight of God’s will for Cruising For Jesus. This is what I believe God wants to accomplish through this ministry:

To reach lost souls, especially the youth who have never experienced life in Christ;

To provide reconciliation to Christ for those who have back slid and do not feel accepted by the church; and

To give support to these new children of God and each other through ongoing activities such as bible studies, barbeques and continued fellowshipping, etc. By gathering together we can continue to encourage and strengthen each other, as we all grow closer to the Lord. Hebrews 10:25 says, “Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching”.

Ephesians 4:1-6 says, “As a prisoner for the Lord, then I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit-just as you were called-one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all”.

Ephesians 4:29-32 says, “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you”.

I will close with this. What was said above was not intended to hurt or offend anyone; it is my hope that we will all accept that the Word of the Lord is the absolute truth. Please consider the direction the Lord has given Cruising For Jesus and consider whether or not you can operate under the only rule of Cruising For Jesus:

THE LOVE OF CHRIST MUST BE EVIDENT IN ALL WE DO!

2 Timothy 3:16-17 says, “All scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

En otras palabras, todo el mundo con que nos entran en contacto si la experiencia del amor de Cristo que abounding en nosotros. Jesús nos dice en Juan 10: 10, "el ladrón viene sólo para robar y matar y destruir; he llegado que puedan tener vida y que al máximo".

En 1996, Dios me dio la visión de tener una cruzada mediante el uso de un show de coche para atraer a la juventud perdida de este mundo y también a las personas que una vez estaban sirviendo al Señor, pero ahora han caído lejos. En ese momento, el Señor me dijo que ir a la calle y me dio esta escritura, Lucas 14: 15-24 años, "cuando uno de esos en la mesa con él oído esto, dijo a Jesús, bendito es el hombre que va a comer en la fiesta en el Reino de Dios. Jesús respondieron: un cierto hombre estaba preparando un gran banquete y muchos invitados. En el momento del banquete, envió a su siervo para indicar a quienes habían sido invitados, venir, para que todo está listo. Pero todo tanto empezaron a hacer excusas. La primera dice, sólo he comprado un campo y me tengo que ir y verla. Pido disculpas. Otro dijo, sólo he comprado cinco yugo de bueyes y estoy en mi camino a les pruebe. Pido disculpas. Aún otro dijo, acabo de conseguir casado, por lo que puedo ir. El sirviente volvió y informó de esto a su maestro. Luego se convirtió en el propietario de la casa enojado y ordenó a su sirviente, salir rápidamente en las calles y callejones de la ciudad y traer a los pobres, el lisiado, los ciegos y los cojos. Señor, el siervo dijo, ordenó a lo que se ha hecho, pero hay todavía de la habitación. Entonces el maestro le dijo a su siervo, salir a las carreteras y calles del país y hacerlos venir en, por lo que mi casa estará lleno. Digo, no uno de aquellos hombres que fueron invitados obtendrá un sabor de mi banquete".

Hay muchas personas que han caído en su caminada con Cristo, y se sienten derrotados. Se sienten que los cristianos somos demasiado subjetivos y que no se puede medir a nuestras normas. Esto es una tragedia terrible que no debemos permitir para continuar, el amor de Cristo superar esta actitud, si podemos presentar a él y caminar en su luz. 1 Juan 1: 7 dice, "pero si caminamos en la luz, como es en la luz, tenemos becas uno con el otro, y la sangre de Jesús, su hijo, nos purifica de todo pecado".

¿Quiénes somos nosotros para determinar quién es digno y quién no? Hermanos, no podemos olvidar de dónde nos viene. Efesios 2: 1-10 dice, "como para usted, estabas muerto en sus transgresiones y pecados, en la que usted utiliza para vivo cuando siguió las formas de este mundo y de la regla del Reino del aire, el espíritu de quien ahora es en el trabajo en aquellos que son desobedientes. Todos nosotros también viviemos entre ellos al mismo tiempo, los antojos de nuestra naturaleza pecaminosa y siguiendo sus deseos y pensamientos de gratificante. Como el resto, fuimos por objetos de la naturaleza de la ira. Pero debido a su gran amor por nosotros, Dios que es rico en misericordia, nos hizo vivo con Cristo incluso cuando estábamos muertos en transgresiones - es por gracia que ha sido guardado. Y Dios nos arriba plantearon con Cristo y nos sentado con él en los reinos celestiales en Jesucristo, a fin de que en los próximos años de edad, él podría mostrar la incomparable riqueza de su gracia, expresada en su bondad para nosotros en Cristo Jesús. Tenemos que ser a la aceptación de todo el mundo y permitir que el amor de Dios para cambiar de personas, no a Estados Unidos. 2 Cor 3: 18 dice, "Y nosotros, que con caras desvelados todos reflejan la gloria del Señor, estamos siendo transformados en su semejanza con la cada vez mayor gloria, que viene del Señor, que es el espíritu". 2 Corintios 5: 17-21 dice, "por lo tanto, si alguien está en Cristo, es una nueva creación; la antigua ha ido, el nuevo ha llegado! Todo esto es de Dios, quien nos reconciliaron a sí mismo a través de Cristo y nos dieron el Ministerio de la reconciliación: que Dios era conciliar el mundo a sí mismo en Cristo, sin contar los pecados de los hombres contra ellos. Y él ha comprometido a nosotros el mensaje de la reconciliación. Por lo tanto, somos embajadores de Cristo, como si Dios estaban haciendo su llamamiento a través de nosotros. Nosotros le suplico en nombre de Cristo: se reconciliaron a Dios. Dios hizo aquel que no había ningún pecado que pecado para nosotros, para que en él nos podríamos convertido en la rectitud de Dios".

Hermanos, el Señor nos ha llamado todos a trabajar juntos en este Ministerio. Como el señor continúa a bendecir Cruising para Jesús y crece el Ministerio, debemos tener cuidadosos de no perder de vista de la voluntad de Dios para Cruising para Jesús. Esto es lo que creo que Dios quiere realizar a través de este Ministerio:

Para llegar a las almas perdidas, especialmente a los jóvenes que nunca han experimentado la vida en Cristo;

Para proporcionar la reconciliación a Cristo para quienes tienen volver resbalados y no se sienten aceptados por la Iglesia; y

Para dar soporte a estos nuevos niños de Dios y entre sí a través de las actividades en curso, como estudios de la Biblia, barbacoas y fellowshipping continua, etc.. Mediante la recopilación de juntos podemos seguir alentar y reforzar mutuamente, como todos nosotros acercarse al Señor. Hebreos 10: 25, dice, "que nos da una reunión juntos, como algunos están en el hábito de hacerlo, pero debemos alentar a uno con el otro- y más como ver el día que se aproxima".

Efesios 4: 1-6 dice, "como un preso por el Señor, a continuación, le insto a vivir una vida digna de la vocación que has recibido. Ser completamente humilde y suave; ser paciente, teniendo uno con el otro en el amor. Hacer todo lo posible para mantener la unidad del espíritu a través del vínculo de la paz. Hay un cuerpo y un espíritu-justo como estabas uno llamado Señor, una fe, un bautismo; un Dios y padre de todos, que es sobre todo, a través de todos y en todos".

Efesios 4: 29-32 dice, no dejar cualquier charla morbosos salen de su boca, pero sólo lo que es útil para construir otros de acuerdo a sus necesidades, que pueden beneficiar a aquellos que escuchar. Y no lamenten el espíritu de Dios, con quien estaban sellados para el día de la redención. Deshacerse de amargura, rabia y enojo, reyerta y calumnia, junto con toda forma de malicia. Ser amable y compasivo a uno con el otro, le perdonar mutuamente, al igual que en Cristo Dios perdonó.

Se cerrará con esto. Lo dicho anteriormente no pretendía herir o ofender a nadie; es mi esperanza que todos aceptaremos que la palabra del Señor es la verdad absoluta. Por favor tenga en cuenta que la dirección el Señor ha dado Cruising for Jesus y considerar si o no se puede operar bajo la única regla de Cruising para Jesús:
