Hello, my name is Alex and I would like to share with you my living testimony of what the Lord Jesus Christ did in my life and continues to do.

I grew up and only child, I never knew my father it was only me and my mother so from an early age I didn’t have that father figure to guide me in the right direction. Like many I started hanging with the wrong crowd, not so much into gang banging but enough to go down the wrong path. I started drinking alcohol around the age of 13. It didn’t seem like such a big deal back then, everything seemed so easy, but never in my life could I have known the affect it was going to have on my life. As the years went on I got so addicted to it, in my mind it was all that I needed it was no longer just a cure for a hangover it had advanced into a disease that literally had dominated my life 24 hours a day. If I didn’t have it my body would literally start shaking. There where times that it felt like my brain was just floating on alcohol. I was always under the impression that I was ok but I wasn’t, I was always losing jobs or quitting because my body would shut down after the affect started to go away and the only way I could keep going was to feed my body with more beer, wine or whatever it was. I couldn’t eat anymore I could chew but I couldn’t swallow, my body rejected any food all I wanted was to continue drinking. Many people turned there back on me because of what I was, and what I had become but that didn’t bother me because I really didn’t care, as long as I was buzzing in my mind I was happy. But then the day came when I really got sick, I went outside the back yard and started vomiting not food, but blood. I ended up going to the doctor and he told be that my liver was so bad that if I didn’t stop the abuse I wasn’t going to live another year, but I didn’t care I kept on doing what I was doing, waking up in the morning with a pain so bad sometimes I couldn’t even get up,

I knew I was sick and I knew I needed help, but nobody would help me until the Lord Jesus Christ heard my mothers prayers. He sent what I believe was an angel to guide me to a place Shining Light Ministries men’s home and that’s where I met Jesus Christ. He picked me up, pulled me out of those pits of hell where Satan had me locked up for so many years. He gave me the strength to have broken those chains of bondage, lifted me up, cleansed me, gave me a new reason for living, gave me a peace in my life that I thought I never could have what anybody else or program could not do. He did it by shedding His blood on that cross on Calvary, He took away the hurt the sadness, sickness, and everything and I am alive today because of His grace. He had mercy on my soul, He set me free from all addictions and now I serve Him, I am a miracle a person saved and alive today because of Him, so to you who are out there and may read this, don’t ever think that there is no hope. I don’t care what you may be going through there is still hope, help and healing for a better life, all you have to do is surrender yourself and call on to the LORD JESUS CHRIST and He will answer you. It does not matter what you’ve been through or what you may be doing if you seek the Lord He will set you free, all you have to do is lay all your burdens and sins down at the foot of the cross of Jesus and call on Him. I am a living testimony of what the power of God can do for a person lost with no way out, He did it for me and He can do it for you. With Jesus Christ all things are possible, He can set you free and give you peace because the bible says that “God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son that who so ever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life” John 3:16.

You can have it to, all you have to do is call on His name “JESUS” and He will answer and set you free just like He did for me. God Bless and remember Jesus loves you.
